Earlier this Fall, Sarah Jessica Parker (AKA Carrie) said that we will not be getting another Sex and the City movie because Kim Cattrall (AKA Samantha) was the only one who wouldn’t sign onto it.
This (of course) created a lot of drama between the women who played on the show (except Cynthia Nixon who plays Miranda because she doesn’t have social media). They each took to Twitter to say their piece and take a stand.
Now, Kim is really making her feelings known. In an interview with Piers Morgan she says about her costars: “We’ve never been friends. We‘ve been colleagues and in some ways it’s a very healthy place to be because then you have a clear line between your professional life and relationship and your personal…They all have children and I am ten years older and since specifically the series ended I have been spending most of my time outside of New York, so I don’t see them,” she explained. “The common ground that we had was the series and the series is over.”
The show ended in 2004 and was followed up by two movies. Kim Cattrall suggests they move on with a third movie by recasting her role or killing her off.
