A year after winning the award for Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy, FX unveiled the first trailer for Atlanta season two during last night’s Golden Globes broadcast. The minute-long clip, soundtracked by Sonder’s “Too Fast,” features Earn (Donald Glover), Alfred aka Paper Boi (Brian Tyree Henry), Darius (LaKeith Stanfield) and Vanessa (Zazie Beetz) in various settings, from the diner to the strip club.
While the trailer doesn’t give too much away, Atlanta‘s co-creator Stephen Glover recently revealed that the show’s second season (dubbed Robbin Season) was inspired by the 1992 Looney Tunes spin-off Tiny Toon Adventures: How I Spent My Vacation. “Tiny Toons Summer Vacation was broken up into a bunch of episodes, but if you watched them all together they were a movie,” he told Vulture. “We took that idea. It’s a whole story, but told in a bunch of little parts.”
Atlanta season two premieres March 1 on FX.
