UPDATE: EVERYONE IS GOOD!!!! READ THE STATEMENT ON MY LATEST POST! My view of the incident... An outraged attendee at the show tonight. Attacked Jay... The male dancers handled it! The man "allegedly" punched Jay because of his cheating. People around the guy in question, stated that the whole nite... He kept shouting "abuse" each time Jay came on stage... #PrayersUp4TheCarters It was the scariest feeling ever!!!! When Kimmie and Dnay became hysterical... That's when I stopped recording... My spirit got extremely heavy! I’ll post this entire video on my YouTube channel! Round 2 is today in ATL! 💙 #IAmDeronJordan #TheCarters #Atlanta #Atl #Apeshit
The drunken fan who rushed the stage at Beyonce and JAY-Z’s concert in Atlanta on Saturday has been identified and charged with simple battery.
Anthony Charles Thomas Maxwell allegedly made contact with JAY-Z as the show was ending and he and Beyonce were exiting the stage, before concert security staff and the duo’s backup dancers were able to contain him.
The 26-year-old Maxwell was issued a citation for disorderly conduct and released by authorities, but police have now added the simple battery charge.
The AP notes it wasn’t immediately clear if Maxwell, who was also treated for minor injuries after the incident, has a lawyer.
